If you haven’t yet figured it out, Midwest Unconference is by the people, for the people. There is no corporate over site, no registration fees, no hidden agenda… nope, this is simply a gathering of social media and blogging geeks who are looking to network and share ideas.
Because of this, we don’t have a huge speaker budget. This isn’t a bad thing, rather, we see it as a good thing. Unlike big money conferences, you won’t see the same old faces and “premier” speakers at Midwest Unconference. Instead, you’ll be treated to some of the social media realms true warriors.
In other words… people like you!
So here is the deal. We’re putting together two full days of high end training, socializing, speakers, and panels. If you’ve got experience in anything related to social media, online marketing, affiliate programs, blogging, etc, we’d like to hear from you.
Because we’re running this on a shoestring budget and as a not-for-profit event, there is no monetary reward, but if you help us make this a great event we’ll do everything possible to promote and market your online profile in return.
